Latch
1a. Remove the decorative cover.
1b. Remove the screws securing the latch assembly (see accompanying illustrations).
2. Disconnect the actuator rod, disconnect the electrical connectors, then remove the latch.
3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Lock cylinder
1. Remove the bolt securing the cylinder to the tailgate (see accompanying illustration).
2. Disconnect the actuator rod, turn the cylinder and remove it from the door panel.
3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Stops
1. Open the tailgate and prop it up in the upper position.
2. Using a small screwdriver, remove the fastening clips of the upper end of the stop. Pull the stop sharply to disconnect it from the car (see accompanying illustration).
3. Remove the decorative cover, loosen the lower mounting bolt (see accompanying illustration) and remove the stop.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
