Removal and installation the latch and cylinder of the trunk lid lock (Honda Accord 6)

Latch

1. Open the trunk lid and trace the latch assembly with a marker.

2. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector.



3. Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the latch assembly.



4. Disconnect the latch release cable from the latch.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Lock cylinder

1. Open the trunk lid and locate the access hole behind the rear combination lamp assembly. Release the lock cylinder actuator rod from its retainer through the hole, then remove the mounting bolt. If the vehicle is equipped with the appropriate equipment, disconnect the electrical connector from the lock.



2. Rotate the lock at 45° and remove the assembly from the trunk lid.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
