Oil filter made in Japan
Warning. After the engine is running, the exhaust pipe heats up. Be careful when working near the exhaust pipe. When the engine is hot, be careful when removing the drain plug. The oil temperature is very high and can cause burns.
1. Unscrew the oil filter with an oil filter wrench.
2. Inspect the threads and rubber seal on the new filter. Wipe the engine block mounting area, then apply a thin layer of oil to the filter rubber seal,
Note: Only use filters with a built-in bypass system.
3. Install the oil filter by hand.
4. After the rubber seal "sit down", tighten the oil filter clockwise with the oil filter wrench.
Tightening: 7/8 turn clockwise
- Tightening torque: 22 Nm
Attention. Installation in a manner other than the above may cause serious engine damage due to oil leakage.
