1. Disconnect the latches and remove the cover.

4-cylinder engine
1. Disconnect the latches and remove the filter cover.
2. Release the battery clamp and move it to the side, unscrew the fasteners and remove the upper part of the filter housing.
3. Remove the filter element.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
V6 Engine
1. Disconnect the battery cable clamp from the upper filter housing and disconnect the battery from ground (first make sure you know the code for your radio).
2. Remove the plastic cover between the battery and the top case cover.
3. Unscrew the fasteners and remove the top cover. Remove the filter element.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
