Caution: Use only Genuine Honda Power Steering Fluid-V. Use of other fluids will damage the system.
System capacity: 0.85 liters when disassembled
Filling tank capacity: 0.4 liters
1. Lift the filler tank, then disconnect the return pipe.
2. Connect a pipe of the appropriate diameter to the disconnected return pipe and insert the tip of the pipe into the appropriate container.
Caution: Be careful not to spill liquid on the body and other parts. Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately.
3. Start the engine, let it idle, and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times. When fluid stops flowing from the hose, turn off the engine. Drain the fluid.
4. Reconnect the return hose to the filling barrel.
5. Fill the filling tank to the top level.
6. Start the engine, let it run at high idle, then turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to bleed air from the system.
7. Check the fluid level again and add more if necessary.
Caution: Do not fill the filling tank above the top level.
