Checking the level
1. Start the engine and wait until it warms up (the cooling system fan will start).
2. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
3. Remove the automatic transmission fluid level dipstick (A), wipe it with a rag and install it back in place.
4. Remove the dipstick (A) and make sure that the working fluid level is between the maximum (B) and minimum (C) marks.
If necessary, bring the level of the automatic transmission fluid up to the established norm. To do this, unscrew the filler plug (A) with the gasket (B) and add fluid.
- Working fluid type - ATF-Z1
5. Install a new gasket and tighten the plug.
- Tightening torque - 44 Nm
6. Install the dipstick.
Replacement
1. Start the engine and warm up the gearbox.
2. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
3. Unscrew the drain plug (A) and drain the automatic transmission fluid.
3. Install a new gasket (B) on the plug and tighten the plug.
- Tightening torque - 49 Nm
4. Unscrew the filler plug (A) and remove the gasket (B).
5. Fill with working fluid.
- Working fluid type - ATF-Z1
Filling capacity:
- when replacing - 2.6 l
- full - 6.0 l
6. Install a new gasket and tighten the plug.
7. Make sure that the working fluid level is correct and install the dipstick back into place.
