Transmission fluid (Honda HR-V 1)

1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Unscrew the filler plug, remove the washer, check the condition of the fluid and make sure that the fluid level is normal.



3. If the transmission fluid is dirty, remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.



4. Replace the drain plug with a new washer and fill with transmission fluid to the proper level.

Manual transmission model SEVM

• 1.8 l when changing fluid
• 2.0 l during repair

SEPM model manual transmission

• 1.65 l when changing fluid
• 2.1 l during repair

Always use Genuine Honda Manual Transmission Fluid (MTF). If not available, API service SG, SH, or SJ engine oil with SAE 10 W-3O or 10 W-40 viscosity may be used temporarily.

5. Screw the filler plug back in place with a new washer.
