2. Measure the resistance between pins 1 and 2 of each connector.

- Standard resistance: approx. 5.0 Δ
If the resistance is different from the above, replace solenoid valves A and B as an assembly.
3. Apply battery voltage to the solenoid valve connector A and B (contact No.2 to ground, contact No.1 to +) and check by sound that the solenoid valve has operated.
4. If there is no actuation sound, remove the solenoid valves A and B as an assembly and clean the oil passages.
5. Check whether the valves are moving by applying and disconnecting battery voltage to the contacts of the solenoid valve connectors A and B (contact No.2 to "ground", contact No.1 to "+").

6. Repeat step 5 and check the operation of the valves.
To check the valve movement, look from the side adjacent to the oil channels.
7. If the valves are difficult to move or stick, replace the solenoid valves A and B as an assembly.
