2. Depending on the installation location of the radio, remove the front console or instrument panel trim (see Chapter 11).
3. Remove the radio and unscrew the mounting plate screws. Disconnect the connectors and antenna cable.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Antenna
5. If the antenna is motorized, pull the antenna out and disconnect the cable from the antenna motor. On a regular antenna, disconnect the cable from the radio.
6. Tie a fairly long piece of rope or thin wire to the antenna cable, unscrew the mounting screws and pull out the antenna and cable (together with a rope tied to it).

7. Untie the rope from the old antenna cable and tie it to the new one. Pull the antenna cable through with the rope.
