2. Drain the engine oil.

3. Unscrew bolts A, remove engine oil level sensor covers B and engine oil level sensor connector C.
Note: If the cover is damaged, replace it.
4. Remove bolts A, then remove engine oil level sensor B from oil pan C.
Note: To avoid damaging the oil pan and the sensor mounting surface, do not use sharp tools when removing the sensor.
If you find damage to the sensor, replace it.

5. Clean the area around the mounting hole on the oil pan for the oil level sensor if there is any trace of oil, dirt or grease.
Note: Do not scratch or damage the sensor mounting surface.
6. Perform the sensor installation operations in the reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- use a new O-ring A and make sure it is not bent;
- remove any oil, dirt or grease from the O-ring groove on the B sensor, C bolts and D bolt holes;
- be careful not to scratch the sensor mounting surface;
- do not allow oil to come into contact with the E connector;
- make sure that the surface of the F ring of the oil level sensor is 1.0 mm±0.15 mm from the sensor (from all sides) G.

7. Install the drain bolt and fill the engine oil to the maximum level.
Start the engine. Maintain the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min⁻¹) without load (in neutral gearbox position) until the radiator fan turns on and let it idle for at least 10 minutes.
9. Check "ENGINE OIL LEVEL MONITOR CONDITION" (monitoring engine oil levels) in "DATA LIST" (data list) using HDS.
- If the status message is "ACTIVE", proceed to step 10.
- If "INACTIVE" (inactive), install a new sensor, then go to step 7.
10. Turn off the ignition, wait 3 minutes, then measure the engine oil level. If necessary, adjust the oil level to the maximum.
11. Start the engine and let it idle for 5 minutes.
12. Check "ENGINE OIL LEVEL" (oil level) in the "DATA LIST" menu (data list) using HDS and record the level.
13. Turn off the engine, leave the ignition switch in the "ON" (II) position and wait 3 minutes.
14. Check "ENGINE OIL LEVEL" (oil level) in the "DATA LIST" menu (data list) using HDS and compare with the level obtained in step 12.
- If the level has changed by more than 2 mm, the engine oil level sensor is working properly.
- If the level has not changed by more than 2 mm, install a new sensor and go to 6.
15. Check for oil leaks around the sensor.
- If there are no leaks, proceed to 16.
- If you find any leaks, repair them, then proceed to 16.
16. Install the engine oil level sensor housings A and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

17. Install the lower engine cover.
