Excessive consumption of motor oil
1. Check how tightly the oil filler cap is tightened
2. engine, drain plug bolt and
3. Oil filter. Check for oil leaks.
4. Check the valve guide bushing wear and valve stem seals.

Low oil pressure indicator (red) does not come on when ignition switch is turned to ON (II) position
1. Troubleshoot the low oil pressure indicator circuit
2. (Break).
Check the oil pressure switch.
Wire break between ECM and oil pressure sensor
The low oil pressure indicator (red) remains on.
1. Check the engine oil level.
2. Troubleshoot the low oil pressure indicator circuit.
3. (Short circuit).
4. Check the oil pressure sensor.
5. Check the engine oil pressure.
6. Check if the oil filter is clogged.
7. Check if the oil receiver screen is clogged.
Check the oil bypass valve. Check the oil pump.
