Excessive consumption of engine oil
1. Check how tight the oil filler cap is
2. engine, drain plug bolt and
3. oil filter. Check for oil leaks.
4. Check the degree of wear of the guide (-their) bushings (-OK) valves and seals (-I) valve stems.
Check piston rings for damage or wear Check for damage or wear on internal engine parts (cylinder walls, pistons, etc.).
Indicator (red) low oil pressure does not light up when the ignition key is turned to the ON position (II)
1. Troubleshoot the low oil pressure indicator circuit
2. (Gap).
Check the oil pressure switch.
Broken wire between ECM and oil pressure sensor
Indicator (red) low oil pressure light stays on.
1. Check engine oil level.
2. Troubleshoot the low oil pressure indicator circuit.
3. (closure).
4. Check the oil pressure sensor.
5. Check engine oil pressure.
6. Check if the oil filter is clogged.
7. Check if the oil receiver screen is clogged.
Check oil bypass valve. Check the oil pump.
Short circuit to ground» wires between the ECM and the oil pressure sensor.
