1. Remove the lid from the tank. Make sure the float moves up and down freely; otherwise, replace the tank cap assembly.

2. Check if there is conductivity between the terminals in the lower and upper positions of the float:
  • Float at the top: there should be conductivity.
  • Float at the bottom: there should be no conductivity.
