Checking the door lock button switch (Honda Civic 8)

1. Remove the passenger door panel or rear door panel.

2. Disconnect connector A from actuator B.



3. Check the connection between the terminals.

There should be a connection between terminals #8 [7] and #10 [5] when the door lock button switch is in the unlocked position" ("UNLOCK").

There should be no connection when the door lock button switch is in the "LOCK" position.

4. If the connection is not as specified, replace the door lock actuator.
