2. Align the front wheels, then remove the driver's airbag from the steering wheel.
3. Disconnect the auxiliary harness from cable connector A.
4. Loosen the steering wheel mounting bolt B.

5. Install the commercially available steering wheel puller A onto the steering wheel B. Remove the steering wheel from the steering column by rotating the bolt C of the puller.
When removing the steering wheel, please note the following.
When removing the steering wheel, do not subject it or the steering column to impact.
If you tighten the bolts of the puller D into the steering wheel hub more than five threads, the bolts will hit the slip ring and damage it. To prevent this, tighten two lock nuts onto the puller bolts five threads from the end of each bolt.
6. Remove the steering wheel puller, then remove the steering wheel bolt and the steering wheel from the column.
