Examination
1. Check the positive crankcase ventilation system valve and its connector for damage. Check the positive crankcase ventilation system hoses for leaks.

2. Set the idle speed, lightly pinch the hose between the valve and the intake manifold with your hand or pliers, and check for clicking sounds when the valve operates.

If there is no clicking noise, check the valve sealing rings for damage. If necessary, replace the valve and recheck.
