Fuel vapor recovery system (Honda Civic 7)

Checking the valve

1. Connect a vacuum pump to the valve.



Try to create a vacuum. If successful, replace the valve.

2. Connect a vacuum pump to the valve.



Try to build up pressure. If successful, replace the valve.

Removal the fuel vapor canister

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the fuel vapor canister (see the illustration "Location of the fuel vapor canister").



3. Unscrew bolt "B".

4. Remove the fuel vapor canister.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
