Examination
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the valve connector.
3. Loosen the bolts (C) securing the valve (A).

4. Remove the valve.
5. Carefully remove the filter (B). Check for contamination. Replace if necessary.
6. Check the resistance between the valve terminal and the body.
Resistance:
- D17A — 14-30 Ohm
Replace the valve if necessary.
7. Loosen the coil mounting bolts and remove the coil. Use your hand to check the valve movement.
8. Assemble in the reverse order of removal. When assembling, install a new sealing ring (C).
Tightening torque - 12 Nm
