Total capacity of the cooling system (including heater and reservoir):
  • Manual transmission: 3.9 l
  • CVT: 4.1L
  • Tank capacity: 0.4 l

Note:
  • Check all cooling system hoses for damage, leaks or failure and replace if necessary.
  • Check all hose clamps and tighten if necessary.
  • When assembling, install new O-rings.


1. RADIATOR

1. RADIATOR
Filling with coolant and bleeding (see below). Leak test (see below)
Check welds and seams for leaks.
Blow out dirt between the radiator core fins with compressed air. If the radiator is clogged with insects, etc., wash them off with water under low pressure.
2. RADIATOR CAP. Pressure test.
3. 6x1.00 mm, 9.8 Nm (1.0 kgf/m)
4. UPPER BRACKET AND CUSHION
5. 6x1.0 mm, 7 Nm (0.7 kgf/m)
6. COOLANT RESERVOIR
7. LOWER CUSHION
8. O-RING, Replace.
9. DRAIN PLUG
10. AFT COOLANT HOSE.
11. LOWER RADIATOR HOSE
12. RADIATOR FAN SHROUD
13. FAN MOTOR
14. 6x1.0 mm, 7 Nm (0.7 kgf/m)
15. RADIATOR FAN
16. 5.4 Nm (0.55 kgf/m)
17. UPPER RADIATOR HOSE

1. WATER BYPASS HOSE
2. IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IAC)
3. THERMOSTAT HOUSING

6. O-RING, Replace.
