Caution: Do not allow the pressure modulator to drop with the ABS control unit.
Note:
- When removing, follow the assembly drawing "Removing and installing the pressure modulator with the ABS control unit".
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation:
- bleed the brake system;
- start the engine and make sure the "ABS" indicator goes out.
1. Lift up the retainer and disconnect the connector from the pressure modulator.
Removal and installation the pressure modulator with the ABS control unit. 1 - stud, 2 - rubber bushing, 3 - front right wheel circuit tube, 4 - rear left wheel circuit tube, 5 - rear right wheel circuit tube, 6 - front left wheel circuit tube, 7 - pressure modulator and ABS control unit, 8 - connector, 9 - bolt, 10 - bracket.
2. Loosen the nuts and disconnect the 6 brake pipes.
3. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the pressure modulator.
4. Remove the pressure modulator from the ABS control unit.
