Caution: Do not allow the pressure modulator to drop with the ABS control unit.


Note:
  • When removing, refer to the assembly drawing "Removing and installing the pressure modulator with the ABS control unit".
  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
  • After installation:
  • bleed the brake system;
  • start the engine and make sure the "ABS" indicator goes out.

Removing and installing the pressure modulator with the ABS control unit.


1. Lift up the retainer (B) and disconnect the connector (A) from the pressure modulator.

2. Unscrew the nuts and disconnect:
  • tubes (C) to the main brake cylinder;
  • tube (D) to the front right wheel;
  • tube (E) to the rear left wheel;
  • tube (F) to the rear right wheel;
  • tube (G) to the front left wheel.

3. Remove the pressure modulator with the ABS control unit (H) and bracket (1) as an assembly.

4. Remove the pressure modulator from the bracket.
