Checking wheel speed sensors (Honda Civic 7)

1. Remove the wheel and inspect the speed sensor and sensor rotor for damage. Replace the sensor and/or sensor rotor if necessary.

2. Check the gap between the wheel speed sensor and the sensor rotor as shown in the figure. Adjust the gap if necessary.

Nominal clearance:

• front wheels - 0.4-1.0 mm
• rear wheels - 0.2-1.0 mm

If the gap is not within the norm, check that the sensor is installed correctly and that the suspension arms are not bent.
