Warning! If the car stereo system is equipped with a security code, make sure you have the correct combination to activate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!
2. Disconnect the wiring from the IAT sensor.
3a. On Civic models equipped with the D16Y7 engine, remove the air cleaner.
3b. Then release the clips and remove the air cleaner housing (see accompanying illustrations).
4. On D16Y5 and D16Y8 Integra and Civic models, remove the intake air duct/resonator assembly, then loosen the mounting bolts and remove the air cleaner.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
