For jacking, park the car on a flat, horizontal surface, if possible with a hard surface. If there is the slightest incline, you must take precautions against rollback: support the wheel located diagonally from the wheel to be removed with anti-rollback shoes), firmly cock the parking brake, turn on the reverse gear (RKPP), or move the selector lever to the "P" position (AT). Try not to stray too far from a jammed car, especially if there are children nearby.

When jacking up a car to secure it in a raised position when performing more serious repairs than replacing a wheel, the head of the hydraulic jack should be inserted under the front subframe or the rear axle differential housing. In order to distribute the load between the jack head and the surface of the jacking point, it makes sense to place a wooden block. The supports are inserted under the standard front and rear side jacking points.
