Honda Civic and Acura Integra Cars — Abstract (Honda Civic 6)

The cars in question are available in two body modifications: a 2-door Coupe and a 4-door Sedan. The 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine is mounted transversely in the front of the car and is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system.

The cars have front-wheel drive and can be equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox (MCG), 4-speed automatic transmission (AT), or continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The drive shafts have an independent design. All four wheels have independent suspension and are equipped with shock absorbers with coil springs. The rack-and-pinion steering gear is equipped with a hydraulic booster system and is located behind the power unit.

The front wheel brakes have a disc design. The rear wheels can be equipped with either disc brakes or drum brakes. Most models come standard with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
