Warning! Halogen bulbs are filled with pressurized gas and may explode if shaken sharply. Try to handle such bulbs only by the base and use protective glasses. Remember that touching the bulb with bare fingers leaves greasy stains on the glass, which leads to premature failure of the bulb due to overheating. Before installation, wipe the bulb with alcohol.
1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector located under the headlight assembly, then remove the rubber protective boot (see accompanying illustration).
3a. On Civic models, release the wire retaining clip from the bulb socket (see accompanying illustration).
3b. Pull the socket out of the headlight unit.
4. On Integra models, turn the socket counterclockwise and remove it from the headlight assembly along with the bulb (see accompanying illustration).
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order (see warning at beginning of Section).
