Warning! Halogen bulbs are filled with pressurized gas and may explode if shaken sharply. Try to handle such bulbs only by the base and use protective glasses. Remember that touching the bulb with bare fingers leaves greasy stains on the glass, which leads to premature failure of the bulb due to overheating. Before installation, wipe the bulb with alcohol.
1. Open the hood.
2. To release the latch, squeeze the connector housing behind the lamp.

3. Turn the socket assembly with the lamp counterclockwise (looking at the back of the headlight).
Note: If necessary, first remove the engine cooling system expansion tank (when replacing the right headlight bulb on 4-cylinder models and the left headlight bulb on V6 models).
4. Remove the socket with the bulb from the headlight housing.
5. Pull the lamp towards you and remove it from the socket.
6. If it is necessary to replace the cartridge, disconnect the electrical wiring from it.
7. Trying not to touch the bulb with bare fingers, place the new bulb in the socket, then insert the assembly into the headlight, making sure that the retainer tabs are correctly aligned with the grooves in the headlight housing. After inserting the assembly into the mounting hole, turn it clockwise until it stops to secure it.
8. Connect the wiring and check the proper functioning of the headlight.
