Replacing the stabilizer bar
1. Jack up the car and place it on stands.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. While holding the ball joint pin with a hex wrench, unscrew the nuts securing the stabilizer strut and remove it.
A - front suspension strut,
B - anti-roll bar,
C - stabilizer bar,
D - finger,
E is a hex key.
4. Install the new stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar and front suspension strut.
5. Install the stabilizer bar nuts while holding the ball joint pins with a socket wrench.
A - nut
B - nut,
C - finger,
D - hexagon.
6. Install the front wheels.
7. Remove the car from stands.
Removal and installation
1. Jack up the car and place it on stands.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Remove stabilizer struts.
4. Remove the subframe from the body.
5. Turn away bolts of fastening of an arm of the stabilizer, remove plugs. Remove the anti-roll bar from the subframe.
6. Install the anti-roll bar in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
- Use only new fastening nuts.
- Install the stabilizer mounting bracket with the arrow pointing forward.
- Install bushings (A) fastenings by mark (IN), as it shown on the picture.
- After installation, check the alignment of the front wheels.
