Replacement
1. Remove the lower instrument panel cover on the driver's side, then disconnect the 2K connector of the internal temperature sensor and the air hose.
2. Remove the two self-tapping screws and the internal temperature sensor from the bottom panel cover.
3. The installation procedure is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Note: Make sure the air hose is securely connected.
Trial
Compare the resistance between contacts No.1 and No.2 of the sensor with that indicated on the graph, at the corresponding temperature. The resistance should be close to that indicated.
Note: Check the resistance change when heating the sensor, for example with a hair dryer, etc.
Caution: The sensor contains a thermistor, which may be damaged by large currents during testing. Therefore, use only a tester with an output current of 1 mA in the range of 20 kΩ.
