Replacement
1. Disconnect 2K external temperature sensor at once.
2. Press the latch and remove the external temperature sensor.
3. The installation procedure is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Trial
Compare the resistance between contacts #1 and #2 of the sensor with that indicated on the graph, at the corresponding temperature. The resistance should be close to that indicated.
Note: Immerse the sensor in cold water and measure the resistance, then add hot water and note the change in resistance.
Caution: The sensor contains a thermistor, which may be damaged by large currents during testing. Therefore, use only a tester with an output current of 1 mA in the range of 20 kΩ.
