Warning: This procedure should only be performed by a specialist. The refrigerant is under high pressure, incompetent intervention can lead to accidents and irritation of the respiratory tract.
Removal
1. Discharge the air conditioning system.
2. Disconnect the battery (see Chapter 5). The receiver-dryer is located in the left front corner of the engine compartment.
3. Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the receiver and cap (see fig. 14.3) protect them from dirt and foreign objects.

4. Remove the bolts and take the receiver out of the engine compartment.
Installation
5. Assemble in the reverse order of removal.
6. Check the system for operability. If the receiver was replaced, add about 20 cm³ of special oil for the refrigerator.
