2. Make sure the valves move freely up and down.
3. Establish linings under springs on a head of cylinders.
4. Install new valve stem seals A using valve stem seal tool B.
Note. The valve stem seals for exhaust valves C have a black spring D and for intake valves E a white spring F. They are not interchangeable.
Note. Use side 5.5 mm.
5. Install valve springs. Install the end of the valve spring with closely spaced coils on the side of the cylinder head.
6. Install valve discs.
7. Install the valve spring compressor. Compress the spring and insert the crackers holding the valve.
8. Remove the valve spring compressor.
9. Tap each valve stem lightly with a plastic mallet A two or three times to ensure proper seating of the valve and retainers. Tap the valve stem only along its axis so as not to bend the valve.
