Replacing the engine oil pressure sensor (Honda Civic 8)

1. Remove the lower engine cover.

2. Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector, then remove the oil pressure switch.



3. Remove all old liquid gaskets from the sensor and its mounting hole.

4. Apply a very small amount of liquid gasket to the threads of the oil pressure switch, then install the oil pressure switch.

Note: Using too much liquid gasket may cause it to leak into the oil level or oil pressure sensor.

5. Install the lower engine cover.
