Removal and installation the generator (L13A) (Honda Civic 8)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, then disconnect the positive cable.

2. Remove the drive belt.

3. Remove the intake pipe.

4. Disconnect the generator connector A and the BLK wire B from the generator.

5. Remove the harness C clips from the generator.

6. Remove the generator.

Installation

1. Install the generator.

2. Connect the generator connector A and the BLK wire B to the generator.

3. Install the harness clamps C onto the generator.

4. Install the inlet pipe.

5. Install the drive belt.

6. Adjust the belt tension.

7. Connect the wires to the battery terminals, first the power wire, then the ground (-) wire.

8. Set the correct time on the clock.

9. Perform the initialization procedure for the electric windows.
