Removal
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place safety stands in appropriate places.
2. Remove the rear wheel.
3. For HID model: Remove the rear headlight leveling sensor.
4. Remove the rear spring support lower cover A.
5. Place a floor jack under the rear axle beam and support the rear suspension while raising the jack.
6. Remove the clamps on the right and left sides of the wheel speed sensor wiring harness.
7. Disconnect brake line A from brake hoses B and remove the brake hoses from the rear axle beam by disconnecting brake hose clamp C.
Note: Do not spill brake fluid on the car body - this may cause destruction of the paintwork; if brake fluid gets on the paintwork, wash it off immediately with water.
Note: Install new mounting nuts when reassembling.
8. Remove the right and left side flange bolts A from the bottom of the shock absorbers
9. Lower the jack and rear axle beam, remove spring A and upper spring support B.

Installation
10. Install spring A onto the upper support of spring B.
Note: Install the spring securely into the clamp C of the upper spring support.

Align the top end of spring D with the stepped portion of the upper spring pad.
After installation, make sure that the clamp, step part and other rubber parts do not contact the spring.

11. Lower the rear axle beam. Align the lower end of spring A with the stepped part B and install the lower spring support C on the rear axle beam as shown in the figure.
12. Place a floor jack under the rear axle beam and support the rear suspension while raising the jack.
13. Screw the new right and left side flange bolts into the bottom of the shock absorbers.
14. Install the brake line with new clamps on the right and left sides.
Note: After installation, fill the reservoir with new brake fluid and bleed the brake system.

Check for brake fluid leaks at the brake hose and pipe connections and tighten if necessary.
Make sure that the brake hoses are not kinked or hitting any foreign parts.
15. Install the clamps on the right and left sides of the wheel speed sensor wire harness A.
16. Install the rear spring support lower cover.
17. For HID model: Remove the rear headlight leveling sensor.

18. Install the rear wheel.
Note: Before installing the wheel, clean the contact surface of the hub assembly and the inner surface of the wheel.
19. Check the rear wheel alignment angles.
20. For HID model: Perform the headlight position learning procedure.
