Caution: Install the jack and stands in the designated places.
Examination
1. Stop the vehicle on a level surface and make sure the oil is level with the lower edge of the filler hole.
2. If the oil level is low, add recommended Honda Genuine Ultra ATF to the bottom of the filler hole.
3. Install a new aluminum washer and tighten the filler bolt.
Replacement
1. Stop the car on a level surface, unscrew the filler hole bolt and remove the aluminum washer.
2. Unscrew the drain bolt, remove the aluminum washer and drain the old oil.
3. Install a new aluminum washer and tighten the drain bolt.
4. Fill with recommended Honda Genuine Ultra ATF through the filler hole to the bottom of the filler neck.
5. Install a new aluminum washer and tighten the filler bolt.

Honda Genuine Ultra ATF
Quantity:
- 1.2 l after repair
- 1.0 l when changing oil
Caution: After repair, check the operation of the 4WD system (see above), recheck the oil level and top up if necessary.
