Removal and installation (D15B, D17A)
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the "4P" connector (A) and the wire (B) from the "B" terminal of the generator, from the generator.
3. Loosen the adjusting bolt (C), then remove the lock bolt (A) and the generator mounting bolt (B). Remove the generator drive belt and the generator.
4. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
5. Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt.
Removal and installation (K20A)
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the front bumper.
3. Remove the right headlight.
4. Remove the expansion tank.
5. Remove the accessory drive belt.
6. Unscrew the three generator mounting bolts.
7. Disconnect the connector (A) and black wire (B) from the generator.
8. Remove the generator.
9. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
10. Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt.
