Note: when removing and installing the sunroof subframe and drain hoses, follow the assembly drawing "Removing and installing the sunroof subframe". Carry out removal in the sequence shown in the drawing.


1. Remove the roof trim (see section "Roof finishing").

2. Remove the sunroof glass.

3. (Sedan) Loosen the bolts and nuts, then remove the corner holder

4. Disconnect the connectors, front and rear drain hoses and remove the sunroof open/close relay.

Note: When removing and installing the sunroof subframe and drain hoses, you may injure your hands, so wear gloves.


5. Disconnect the clips and remove the wiring harness.

6. Support the sunroof subframe and remove the bolts, then disconnect the clamps and remove the sunroof subframe.

Tightening torque - 10 Nm

7. Carefully pull the sunroof subframe out through the open front door.

8. To remove the front drain hose flap, remove the front side trim (see section "Interior trim").

9. Tie a rope to the top end of the front drain hose, then pull it by the bottom end and pull it out through the front pillar.

10. Remove the rear pillar trim, luggage compartment side trim (see section "Interior trim").



11. (Hatchback) Tie a rope to the upper end of the rear drain hose, release the clips, and then pull the rear drain hose by the lower end and out through the C-pillar.

11. (Sedan) To remove the rear drain hose flap, remove the luggage compartment carpet and the rear pillar upper trim (see "Interior trim"). Bend back the edge of the luggage compartment side trim and detach the fastening clips of the lower part of the rear drain hose.
