The operation of the electric drives of the upper hatch is carried out using switches mounted in the panel located next to the upper saloon lamps. The panel includes: switch for the drive of the longitudinal movement of the hatch (opening and closing) and sunroof tilt actuator switch. The electric sunroof operates only when the ignition is on (ignition key turned to position "ON" [II]). To open the sunroof, slide the fore/aft switch back and vice versa. The angle of inclination of the hatch is adjusted using the second switch - the rear edge of the hatch should rise. To bring the sunroof cover to a horizontal position, it is necessary to move forward the switch for the longitudinal movement of the sunroof.
Warning! The electric drive of the upper hatch is capable of severely pinching and injuring a hand or fingers caught in the hatch opening! Before you start closing the hatch, make sure that none of the passengers put their head or hands in the opening.
Attempting to open the sunroof when the ambient temperature is below zero, or if the sunroof is covered with a layer of snow or ice, may damage the cover or the motor drive mechanism!
