Removal and installation seats (Honda Civic 6)

Front seats

1a. Access to the rear mounting bolts is gained by moving the seat to the extreme forward position until it stops (see accompanying illustrations).



1b. Access to the front mounting bolts is gained by moving the seat to its rearmost position (see accompanying illustrations).

2. Remove the decorative covers and loosen the seat mounting bolts.

3. Tilt the seat forward and disconnect all the electrical wiring provided. Remove the seat.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Back seat

1. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the seat cushion (see accompanying illustration).





2a. Remove the rear seat back trim (see accompanying illustrations): upper part of the back.



2b. Lower part of the back.



3. Using pliers, remove the axle retainers (see accompanying illustration) and remove the back of the rear seat.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
