If the protrusion of the bushing is clearly different, then the bushing has shifted and its fit has been disrupted (on aluminum cylinder heads, the valve bushings are pressed into the cylinder head and rotated to the required clearance with the valve stem). Check the bushings for cracks or other damage. Check the bushing ovality and inner diameter using a bore gauge. The ovality of the bushing is checked with a micrometer by rocking the valve in two mutually perpendicular directions (photo). If the bushing diameter and ovality differ from the norm, the bushings are subject to replacement or repair.

Carefully inspect the bushings, check that they…

Valve seats

If there are pitting (pits), cracks, burn marks or "indentation" in the valve seat head, replace it. It is recommended to check the ovality of the seats using a gauge, which should not exceed the norm or 0.051 mm in the absence of relevant data. Seats with increased ovality should be ground.
