Replacing the air flow control cable
Note: LHD type is shown, RHD type is similar.
1. Cut the inner cable from the cable lock lever side, then remove both pieces of inner cable.
2. Using a sharp knife, cut completely through the end of the cable housing in two places.
3. Slide most of the cable housing out of the cable retainer, being careful not to damage the cable stops.
4. Carefully remove the cut pieces of cable housing using a small flat-head screwdriver.
5. Attach the end of the new air flow control cable to the temperature control lever, then push the cable body into the cable retainer; if it is lying down, it will not lock in place.
Note: After assembly, check that the temperature control lever moves smoothly from right to left.
