1. Work only on a cold engine, start control from the engine.
2. Inspect pipes and connections for visible leaks, damage, and corrosion. Make sure all brackets are intact and secure.
3. Move pipes, converter and muffler. All components must not be in contact with the body.
4. Inspect the inside of the end pipe. The presence of a large amount of soot indicates shortcomings in the adjustment of the engine and fuel equipment.
