Replacing the engine oil pressure sensor (Honda Civic 8)

1. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector, then remove the sensor itself.

2. Remove all old liquid gaskets from the sensor and its mounting hole.

3. Apply a very small amount of liquid gasket to the threads of the oil pressure sensor, then install the sensor.

Note: Using too much liquid gasket may cause it to leak into the passage or onto the new oil pressure sensor.
