The air cleaner filter element must be replaced at the intervals specified in the maintenance schedule.
The filter element is located in the air cleaner housing, which is located in the engine compartment.
To replace the air cleaner filter element, follow these steps:.
Release the three retaining clips and remove the air cleaner housing cover.
Remove the old filter element from the air cleaner housing.
Clean the inside of the air cleaner housing from dust and dirt using a damp cloth.
Install a new filter element into the air cleaner housing.
Replace the air cleaner housing cover and secure it with the three clips.
