Replacing the air cleaner filter element (Honda Accord 6)

1. The filter element is replaced regularly in accordance with the vehicle's routine maintenance schedule. During vehicle operation, the filter condition should be checked fairly frequently, especially in very dusty areas.



2. Remove the screws securing the air cleaner cover.

3. Lift the lid.



4. Remove the filter element from the air cleaner housing, immediately wiping the inner walls with a clean cloth.

5. After removing the air element, try not to drop any foreign objects inside the air cleaner housing.

6. Install a new filter element into the air cleaner, making sure it is seated correctly.

7. Replace the air cleaner cover and secure it securely with the screws.
