Cooling system fan switch (Honda Civic 7)

Removal and installation

1. Disconnect the cooling fan switch connector and remove the switch.





2. Install the cooling fan switch with a new sealing ring and connect the connector to it.

Examination

1. Place the switch in a container of water. Heat the water and lower the thermometer into the water.

Switch status:

• switching on - 91-95°
• switch-off - 3 - 8° or less

2. Check for conductivity between terminals "A" and "B" of the switch at the switch-on temperature. Check for absence of conductivity at the switch-off temperature.



Replace the switch if necessary.
