Honda Accord Cars — Abstract (Honda Accord 6)

The cars in question are available in two body modifications: 2-door Coupe and 4-door Sedan.

The 4-cylinder in-line or 6-cylinder V-shaped (V-6) gasoline engines used to equip the models under consideration are installed transversely in the front of the vehicle and are equipped with an electronic fuel injection system.

The cars have front-wheel drive and can be equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox (MT) or a 4-speed automatic transmission (AT). Rotation is transmitted to the wheels via independent drive shafts.

All four wheels have independent suspension and are equipped with shock absorbers with coil springs.

The rack and pinion steering is equipped with a hydraulic booster system and is located behind the power unit.

The front wheel brakes are disc brakes. The rear wheels can be equipped with either disc or drum brakes. Most models come standard with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
