2. Remove the window glass (see Removal and installation of door glass).
3. On models with power windows, disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator drive motor.
4a. On models equipped with electric windows, remove the regulator lever bracket and loosen the latter's mounting bolts (see accompanying illustrations).
4b. On models with manual window lifts, loosen the regulator mounting bolts and remove the regulator assembly from the lower guide channel.
5. Remove the regulator lever and the regulator assembly itself from the door frame through the specially provided hole.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
