Caution: Never replace air conditioner hoses yourself.
General information
1. Rubber hoses wear out over time. Inspect them periodically.
2. Cooling system hoses are highlighted separately in section 13.
3. Check the fastening of the hoses, if necessary, eliminate harmful contacts.
Vacuum hoses
4. As a rule, all vacuum hoses are color-coded. Hoses of different systems have different thicknesses and rubber compositions depending on operating conditions: keep this in mind when replacing hoses.
5. When replacing more than one hose at a time, mark the connection points.
6. Inspect the plastic hose fittings: if they break or crack, this could be the cause of a vacuum leak.
Fuel hoses
Caution: When working with the fuel system, observe fire safety precautions.
7. Typically, cracking of fuel hoses occurs at the points where they are attached.
8. Replace hoses only with similar ones. Replacement with transparent hoses is not allowed.
9. Replace spring clamps when they lose their elasticity.
When replacing metal tubing, use only seamless steel tubing.
