1. The result of insufficient performance of the cooling system is serious damage to the engine and automatic transmission.
2. Check the system only on a cold engine.
3. Remove the radiator cap: you should hear the sound of air being sucked in. Clean the radiator cap and neck. If the coolant color changes to brown, replace it.
4. Carefully inspect the cooling system hoses. Replace them at the slightest suspicion of the performance of the hoses. Forcefully replace hoses every 2 years.
5. Coolant leaks are usually identified by a white coating.
6. Rinse or blow out the outer surface of the radiator, being careful not to damage the tube fins.
